Rollers…just people going places

Who are Rollers?

People who enjoy travelling and seeing new places including some who cannot access ordinary coaches

What is Rollers?

Trips and experiences accessible to everyone

When is Rollers?

Whenever an idea for a new accessible trip is planned and publicised

Where are Rollers?

Wherever the accessible coach is departing from on the appointed day and time

Why Rollers?

To enable everyone, whether needing an accessible form of travel or not, to share a good day out with their friends and family in Fleet U3A

The small print.

  • Rollers is part of Fleet U3A’s Outreach programme

  • A barrier to inclusive travel was identified and Rollers is the solution

  • Rollers always uses an accessible coach so people who find stairs or steps a problem can get on and off with ease, where necessary using a hydraulic bus lift

  • Rollers is for all members of Fleet U3A, if you fancy the destination for the trip just book and come along

  • Bookings and queries to Jenny at outreach@fleetu3a.org.uk

Where next for Rollers?

The next excursion is a trip to Chichester on 29 November. Hoping to see you soon,

Jenny Teagle,

Fleet U3A Outreach Secretary
